Identity and Access Management (IAM) services will provide crucial infrastructure to enable SLAC’s expanding mission and population of staff researchers and inter-institutional collaborators.

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory has ambitious plans to dramatically expand its impact in basic science by both scaling up site operations and by widening the scope of multidisciplinary research domains. As it does this, more research efforts will involve contributors from a growing list of collaborative institutions. 

The SLAC IAM program is a multi-year, multi-project effort. While this effort is being led by SLAC IT, it is being carried out in strong collaboration with Stanford UIT, the IAM working group, and in consultation with peer institutions and skilled contracted vendor partners.
